Great food and great service

Great tasty food prepared nicely and great servers. Best ice tea in town!

We stop at the Family Table every time we're in town to visit my husband's family. Great service. Great food. Better come here hungry as they give you a whole lotta food for the money.

Family Table was a really nice surprise when we were in Orient, Iowa. Lovely place! It has a pleasent, rural and rustic atmosphere. The menu is pretty classic American fare - burgers, sandwiches, and apps. The onions rings were great (unless you had a large group, just get the 1/2 order - it's plenty), the fries were great, the sandwiches were great... and the service was friendly and fast.

Wife ordered sweet tea and I ordered half and half, half sweet and half non sweet. Hostess brought our teas. Wife tasted hers and said it was no sweet. I tried mine, same. Why didn't she just say, "We don't have sweet tea, there is sugar on the table?"Chicken fried steak was not steak. Highly processed meat product patty. I complained and the waitress asked if I wanted another one. I didn't want the first one. Mashed potatoes were cold.It is nothing like home cookin'.

GREAT Burgers & Fries. Large portions so take home a meal or share one😉 + good prices. Staff super friendly as well. Wish I lived closer

Usually pretty good service. But asked for suage and two eggs to be added to omelette. Was charged for the suage and not the eggs. So instead of complaining I just ate and figured I would settle it as I checked out. Told the server as she checked me out and she just said “I know what to tell ya” and charged me for the suage anyway.

I had the 1lb hot sausage boy it was every bit of that. Had to take the other half to go. Was not hot either a little spicy. The service was good for as busy as it was they did their best. Always enjoy eating at local place versus the fast food chains and restaurants. If in the area I recomend stopping the portions are filling they also have a buffet

Good food, reasonable prices, personable staff. Would give a 4.7 if possible but since not I will round to 5.

This place knows how it's done. Keep in mind, even your own mother isn't always perfect and any negative reviews I've read, had to have been on one if those days.... try it, you'll like it... if you don't try it one more time

I had jumbo shrimp, it was very delicious! My husband had the buffet which he said wasn't that good. Very friendly waiter. He came over numerous times and asked if we needed anything else and checked look glasses to refill them. Will definitely be back!

Good service, clean, excellent and delicious food. Try the cinnamon roll, it's huge!

One of my favorite places to stop for breakfast when driving through Iowa. Food is always prepared just right and the servers are friendly and helpful. Food is fresh and they don't take a lot of time to fix your meal for you. Just a short distance off I-35 and a nice break from a long travel.

Service was Great everyone was very Nice ! Food was very delicious ,very big portions and the prices are reasonable ! Will definitely be back when we drive back through town

Website shows you are open I've called three times no one's answering. you think you would update your website if y'all are going to be closed. Just another restaurant where you can't get nothing to eat

Good comfort food and excellent service. The place was packed and our order was taken quick, it didn't take long to get our food after ordering, and my drink was never empty. If I had to think of one thing that needs improvement it would be the restroom wasn't perfectly clean.

Friendly ppl! I asked my food to be "changed up" a bit, after asking several questions Lol! The gal has so much patience w Me! Lots of food at reasonable prices!

Food was great. I had the Supreme hashbrown and I really enjoyed them. We can in with a 21 top and the staff was very good handling it especially with all the chaos we there at them.

First time visit and absolutely loved it! Burgers are second to none and the iced tea is even better than my grandmother's! Love the family environment and the friendly staff. This is a halfway point when traveling to see family, so will definitely stop here each time we travel. Many more menu items my husband and I want to try!

Good food. Price is a little high for what you get sometimes. A simple breakfast meal with a coffee will cost you $12.

I've always been happy with the service and the food here. I make it a point to visit this restaurant when I'm in town. I get a great smalltown feel here, and great food to go with it.

Really great Hot Roast Beef Sandwich. My only complaint during my visit is nothing the establishment can control. Is half the town of Osceola dying of Ebola? Literally everyone in the place was hacking up their lungs and did nothing to cover their mouths or muzzle it. Kinda makes for a gross dining experience when the patrons don't have any manners. 🤢

Ordered 57 burger and it was kinda raw fries were cold, but the service was good, probably wouldn't eat there again sorry

Breakfast is the BOMB.COM,. Good news is the serve Bfast all the time. With the Rona they have a limited menu now so the burgers and Sammies are missing. All in all during normal times my daughter and I eat here at least 2 times a week

Great Price! Good family feel. Buffett and Breakfast plater was very good. The Rachers and Hunter eat here. Good service.

Prices are fair and portions are good sized. The Rueben had a great flavor and peach pie is very good. Bathroom needs work.

Some friends introduced me to this place today. I was not very impressed by the outward appearance. However, the food is incredible. Very flavorful and hot. We had a little bit of an issue with a pancake being burnt and not all of our food was ready at the same time, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. The highlight of our visit was a dish that the locals know to ask by name. So, if you are close by and are hungry, stop in and order the rarebit. It is a hamburger and fries smothered in homemade cheese sauce. 😁

Because it is just an amazing place to gather family and friends to visit. These photos are of me and my friends and family because we have all gone to family table together and shared great memories also, a lot of my family members have worked at family table. 🙂 so everyone enjoy!!!

Food was good BUT don't be in hurry! We waited almost 15 mins before our table was cleaned off, another 10 mins to have our order taken and then another 1 hour before we got our meal! Thank goodness our 3 yr old grandson had patience while we waited!

Good service, tasty lunch, great value!

A very good restaurant. If you don't get full here, it's your own fault. Love home made onion rings.
